Athletic Bilbao coach Valverde defends keeper change for Celta Vigo defeat

Athletic Bilbao coach Ernesto Valverde defended his selection for defeat to Celta Vigo.

Valerde shook up his line-up - including goalkeeper - for the 21 defeat.

He said, "We have two great goalkeepers and they can both play at any time. I have nothing to comment on, it seems like a change like any other. With Unai (Simn) we are having a good campaign in the League, fighting for Zamora, and with Julen (Agirrezabala) we have won the Cup.

"I don't think anyone will mess with us for aligning our two goalkeepers however we want. I made the change because I thought it was the best.

"In the first half almost nothing happened and in the second we assumed that they had to change something. We are a team that if we lack intensity we lack things and if we don't have it, it becomes difficult for us.

"We need one more point of dynamism and intensity of what we have seen today. The need is long overdue and our key is intensity."
